Under the NDIS, daily living is considered all those regular tasks and chores that need to be done in the usual course of a day, like getting out of bed, showering, eating, and getting around. Assistance with Daily Life is a budget under the core supports category.
The aim of Assistance with Daily Life is to assist you to live as independently as possible at home and in the community support types that you may be able to access under Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS Plan includes:

Answers To Commonly Questions
If you’re an Australian resident with disability, you may be eligible for individualised supports through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
To apply, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and be aged between seven and 64 years of age.
You must also be living with what’s considered a significant permanent disability that has an impact on different areas of your life.

A cancellation fee applies in some circumstances.Wherever possible, we ask that at least 24 hours notice is given when you need to cancel your service.
If you cancel within 24 hours, you may incur a cancellation fee.
Can I request a different staff member?
If you don't feel comfortable with the people who visit you, please let the Service Coordinator know so we can arrange different support staff. If you are unhappy with any of the services you receive, let Us know so we can implement changes and improvements.
Staffs are thoroughly screened including undertaking a variety of background screenings and references). Every staff member is reliable, well-trained and trustworthy. Each staff member also carries a Just Better Care issued photo ID with their name, photo, and office contact details.
Typically, providers will decide their own prices based on the cost of delivering supports and services. However, they cannot charge more than the limit set by the NDIA.
For example: If the maximum rate for 01_011_0107_1_1 Assistance with self-care activity is $65.47 per hour your provider can charge anything up to $65.47 per hour.
Although it shouldn’t necessarily be up to the participant to ensure they have a fair rate, negotiating with your providers can help you to make the most of your NDIS plan funding and use it how it is intended.
